To maximize profiling efficiency, curated kinase panels have been established for a number of human cell lines, human PBMCs, and serveral rodent tissues. Established panels encompass the probe-labeled kinases previously observed in that particular cell line or tissue, typically covering >200 unique protein and lipid kinases per panel.
Alternatively, comprehensive kinase panels, comprised of every kinase previously detected in a given species (~200-300 unique kinases), are used to profile previously uncharacterized samples.
