Protein and Lipid Kinases

The KiNativ platform provides the ability to broadly and quantitatively profile native protein and lipid kinases in cell or tissue lysates, without the need for recombinant protein expression or substrate-based assay development. Lipid kinases are notoriously difficult to assay using conventional technologies due to their large molecular weight (>100kD), multimeric nature, and the technical challenges related to lipid substrates. The ActivX universal kinases probes circumvent these issues and provide broad coverage of native lipid and atypical kinase, as outlined in the dendrograms below.
